Apgujeong Brunch: Five Places to Eat in Gangnam, Seoul
Brunch in Apgujeong is less about finding a table than about timing one. Some of the best rooms between Sinsa, Apgujeong Rodeo and Cheongdam do not put out hot food before 11:00 or 11:30, and the one that reliably starts at 9:30 is worth knowing by name. For a weekend, booking ahead or arriving before 11:00 is the pattern that actually works.
Five picks follow, spread across Sinsa, Apgujeong Rodeo, the edge of Garosugil and, in one case, neighboring Cheongdam. They run in the order you are most likely to want them: a proper galette and a terrace, a dependable early start, a room with a soundtrack, an easy group booking, and finally room enough to linger all afternoon.
1. Le Bon Gouter
LE BON GOUTER (르봉구떼) is a French-style buckwheat galette and crêpe brunch café tucked in an alley near Dosan Park in Sinsa/Apgujeong Rodeo, opened mid-2024 as the second venue from the team behind Hannam's well-known Summer Rain .
647-2 Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea | $$ | brunch, cafe, european, french
If you want brunch in the literal sense, galettes and crepes and a terrace, this is the one room on the list built for exactly that. It is a French-style cafe in an alley near Dosan Park, opened in mid 2024 by the team behind Summer Rain in Hannam, and it holds the earliest opening of the group. Figure on about 0.7 km from central Apgujeong, roughly nine minutes on foot.
- The galette is the reason to come: it is the house category, made from buckwheat crepe rather than wheat, and independent sources keep naming it the dish to order.
- The terrace, decorated with flowers in a Provence-style look, is the visual signature that drives most of the blog coverage.
- It is repeatedly framed as a top pick for early-opening brunch in the Apgujeong and Sinsa area.
Galettes run 19,000 to 23,000 KRW, the high end for the brunch cafe segment. Kitchen last order is 17:00, well before closing, so late brunchers should plan accordingly. Terrace seating requires an advance reservation and is not a walk-up option. Our research files list an 8:00 opening while the July 2026 listing says 9:00; arriving after 9:00 is the safe plan.

2. Onlygo & Co
Onlygo & Co is a Korean-Western fusion dining room on the ground floor of Hotel Sunshine Seoul, between Sinsa and Apgujeong stations, serving brunch, pasta, and wine through the day . It reads as a date-night and celebration venue built around elaborate fusion plating rather than a straight Italian or brunch spot .

Brunch from 9:30 every day makes this the most dependable early start on the list. The room sits on the ground floor of Hotel Sunshine Seoul, between Sinsa and Apgujeong stations, and it is quiet and plant-filled enough to suit a long conversation or a table for one. The salmon egg benedict is the validated order.
- Open daily 09:30 to 23:00, with brunch served from 9:30, on the ground floor of Hotel Sunshine Seoul.
- The salmon egg benedict is a consistently praised brunch dish.
- The plant-filled dining room, in brown and beige tones, is quiet and calm enough to sit comfortably at any time of day.
- Solo brunch is validated: a solo diner found two brunch dishes a satisfying, not-too-small portion for one.
The entrance is hard to find, an unmarked glass door behind the Hotel Sunshine Seoul lobby; first-timers report circling before locating it. Service inconsistency is documented, including one fully dropped order with a significant delay. Pasta portions run small.

3. Mild High Club
Mild High Club is an Apgujeong Rodeo all-day Italian-leaning brunch café built around a vinyl-and-vintage-tape listening-bar theme, that shifts from a sunlit brunch spot by day into a DJ-driven wine and cocktail bar by night . One repeat visitor's blog claims it is connected to model Joo Woo-jae (주우재), though this is a single unverified secondhand claim .

The scene pick. Vinyl and vintage tapes, an Italian lean, and a sunlit brunch room on Apgujeong Rodeo that turns into a DJ-driven wine and cocktail bar after dark. The Mild Dutch Baby Pancake is the photogenic flagship. It is also the hardest table here to time, because weekend waits run long.
- An Apgujeong Rodeo all-day brunch cafe with an Italian lean, built around a vinyl and vintage-tape listening-bar theme.
- By night it shifts into a DJ-driven wine bar.
- The brunch menu starts around 11:30 even when doors open earlier, and a current listing shows an 11:30 opening on weekdays.
- The Mild Dutch Baby Pancake, with burrata, Greek yogurt, berries and prosciutto, is the flagship brunch item.
Signature items including the Dutch Baby and the lasagna have been reported sold out on visits. The Dutch Baby is explicitly divisive and may not satisfy dedicated pancake specialists. Crowd noise and DJ sets from around 17:00 can impede conversation.

4. Darling Kitchen
Darling Kitchen is an American/Italian brunch-and-dinner house on the third floor of a converted building on Garosugil's edge in Sinsa/Apgujeong, built around the owner's own San Francisco-to-Seoul, New Jersey-childhood, Milan-trained story and centered on a signature eggplant lasagna . It reads as a neighborhood "auntie brunch" spot for Apgujeong moms and a date/group dinner destination in the evening, not a formal fine-dining room .
34 Apgujeong-ro 14-gil, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea | $$ | american, brunch, european, italian
The established room for the Apgujeong brunch crowd, three floors up in a converted building on the edge of Garosugil, homey and mid-century and built around a signature eggplant lasagna. Reservations are easy, which makes it the low-friction option for a group, and the Early Bird slots at 10:30 and 11:00 come with free coffee. In the evening it works as a date or group dinner.
- Open daily 10:30 to 21:00, last order at 20:00, with a break from 15:00 to 17:00.
- Naver booking takes reservations, including an Early Bird option for the 10:30 and 11:00 slots that includes free coffee.
- Visitor reviews from January and March 2026 show it actively operating and well regarded for its food and atmosphere.
There is a daily afternoon break from 15:00 to 17:00, so late lunch is not possible. The room is on the 3rd floor of the building, easy to miss from the street.

5. Monday to Sunday
Monday to Sunday is a Cheongdam basement-level café-restaurant-dining bar that blends brunch, pasta/steak dining, and wine/whisky service in a European-garden-style interior, functioning as an all-day "one-stop" spot for coffee, meals, and drinks . It has been a fixture of the Cheongdam scene long enough that one blogger calls it a longtime local institution people keep returning to , and it has a documented history as a K-pop idol hangout (NCT 127 members) .

The most spacious room of the five, and the one to pick when the meal is really a conversation. A basement cafe, restaurant and dining bar in a European-garden-style interior, it runs as a one-stop for coffee, a meal and a drink, and it has been part of the Cheongdam scene long enough to count as a local fixture. The address is Cheongdam rather than Apgujeong, about 18 minutes on foot from the center, which we kept for comfort over proximity. A separate cafe booking covers a coffee-and-dessert visit.
- Brunch, cafe and bar service at B1F of the EMPRESS Building, 13-3 Dosan-daero 67-gil, with reservations through Naver Booking.
- Meal service runs from 11:00, or 11:30 on Saturdays, to 21:00, and cafe service can be booked separately.
- Table spacing is unusually generous for Cheongdam, which makes it comfortable for lingering conversation.
- Dill cheesecake is the specialty dessert, alongside a fresh grapefruit served with honey.
No hot food before 11:00 on weekdays and 11:30 on weekends, so early brunch-goers wait for the kitchen. Prices are high for the category: mains at 24,000 to 35,000 KRW and bingsu up to 92,000 KRW. The address is Cheongdam, not strictly Apgujeong, though the two neighborhoods are adjacent.

All five were verified as currently operating when this list was put together. No date or party size was in play, so live table availability was not checked; treat the hours above as the plan and the reservation as the insurance. Mild High Club in particular sees long weekend waits.
If what you want is coffee and pastries rather than a hot brunch, Bunker Company and Our Bakery on Eonju-ro 167-gil are the strong bench options.
